For Those Asking for Evidence, This Is Where I’ll Begin
Sharing excerpts from my communication with Erik Herrmann to clarify what happened—and why it matters.
In recent months, I’ve written extensively about my six-month relationship with Erik Herrmann, former professor and dean at Concordia Seminary. I’ve tried to focus not on gossip, but on accountability—specifically the lack of it—and the systemic failures that allow powerful men to disappear quietly and reappear unchallenged in new leadership roles.
That said, it’s fair to ask: Is there evidence?
The answer is yes.
What follows are a handful of messages—just a few among thousands—shared here for the sake of clarity. These messages are not about revenge or spectacle. They are a response to the institutional stonewalling I’ve encountered from the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, Concordia Seminary, and others who have chosen silence over truth.
